All I can tell you about the multiplayer right now is that the game supports up to sixteen players and three modes (Championship, Quick Race and Time Trials) are available. The North American servers weren't working as the time of writing but I did manage to play few private games with some Euro buddies since the game has been available in Europe for a few months now.
